GUILT: THE SILENT ENEMY

We often talk about fear and the ego as our greatest enemies. But there is another one that can be even more dangerous because it often hides behind our personality: guilt.

Guilt restricts us, punishes us and slowly breaks down our self-esteem. It can even keep us in a lower spiritual vibration.

We can feel guilty for what we did, for what happened, for resting, feeling pleasure or even for succeeding.

And sometimes, that guilt was never ours to carry.

It can come from words repeatedly spoken to us, painful experiences or traumas from long ago. Sometimes, we carry guilt for things we were never responsible for.

So, how do we begin to uncover it?

✨ Identify the guilt.

✨ Notice how your body reacts when you feel it.

✨ Then ask yourself:

"If I allow myself to be or act this way, what am I afraid will happen? What might I hear?"

Or:

"What happened, and what was I told, when I acted this way before?"

👉 This is where the answer often lies.

Once we understand where the guilt comes from, we can begin to rewrite the story and reprogram the body through meditation, movement and conscious awareness.

And if we truly made a mistake, we take responsibility, apologise and learn from it.

That is how guilt becomes growth.

Simple? Yes. Easy? Not always.

But with patience, we can heal, grow and finally release the guilt that was never ours to carry.
