The belief in difficulty: why we mistake struggle for value.

The belief in difficulty: why we mistake struggle for value.

Does anyone have any idea where the belief came from that, for things to be good, they have to be difficult?

That success has to be difficult?

That value has to be difficult?

Take my own example. I never truly valued my talents because they came easily to me. And whenever people praised them, it went in one ear and out the other. I think this is a pattern of always "doing"—always waiting for the next achievement, the next effort, the next thing to prove.

When, in fact, everything can be easy when we stop, allow things to flow, and stop interfering. When we stop to focus on the positive, the beautiful, and the extraordinary that exists within us, we give it our attention. And attention is power. Focus is order, and everything happens around that order; everything manifests in that direction.

But again, why do so many people believe that things have to be difficult, or that ease isn't possible? Because of karma, because of conditioning. Because of the third dimension, labelled as reality, which was built with the intention of allowing some people to control and exercise power over others. The truth is, if people discover their own power to create and to trust, they become a genuine threat to those who seek to dominate.
